So today I found out that a friend of mine was in a horrific car accident. His 12 yr old step daughter, his 12 yr old niece and his 6 yr old son were all in the vehicle. The two girls ended up dying.... I just don't know what to say. Life is too short. These girls weren't even official teenagers yet. It just doesn't make any sense.
They say that everything happens for a reason, but I am not sure about this one. How can you explain the reasoning behind two 12 yr old girls dying? Can someone explain it to me? I mean other people are getting a second chance to live because of these girls, but I just don't get it.
I do see the bigger picture. I really do, but that doesn't mean that I have to like it...... I am just shocked and saddened beyond belief. It makes you really open up your eyes and view everything around you. I hugged my kids a little bit tighter today after I found out.
Cherish the ones you love because you never know what tomorrow will bring.
